In 2019, Matterport unveiled their Cloud 3.0 subscription-based platform at the Inman Connect conference in New York City. Afterwards, they kicked-off their VIP & Press Party at the Paramount Hotel, where executives shared an in-depth overview of the specifics of the new technology and guests were offered an interactive opportunity to engage with the product through a variety of industries.
As guests mingled about the venue they were greeted throughout by five 55-inch interactive kiosks with a looping slideshow highlighting the benefits of each use case. When attendees touched the screen it would activate the cloud and they could immerse themselves in a digital twin of each specific environment sample—from a modern art installation, to a healthcare facility, to an architectural wonder, a retail establishment, and even the Paramount Hotel's lobby downstairs. This event marked the culmination of the three-part campaign that included The Listing That Never Sleeps and Restaurant Week.
