At The Economist’s Ideas Economy forum, where the world’s top minds explored how data was transforming business, Cloudera took center stage with a bold message: UNACCEPT THE STATUS QUO. The challenge: communicate that data infrastructure was undergoing a generational transformation, not incremental improvement. We developed the "Unaccept the Status Quo" campaign to position Cloudera as the catalyst for that shift. By showcasing real-world Hadoop implementations delivering 90% cost reductions and real-time insights at scale, we proved enterprises no longer had to choose between speed, scale, and cost. Leveraging the forum's credibility and Cloudera's featured status—including founder Jeff Hammerbacher as a keynote speaker—we amplified the message across the event, livestream, and afterparty, positioning Cloudera as the leader driving transformation in enterprise data infrastructure.
